DON'T MAKE PAGES MANUALLY UNLESS A TEMPLATE IS BROKEN, AND REPORT IT THAT IS THE CASE. THIS SHOULD BE WORKING NOW, REPORT ANY ISSUES TO Janna2000, SelfCloak or RRabbit42. The Trope workshop specific templates can then be removed and it will be regarded as a regular trope page after being moved to the Main namespace. All new trope pages will be made with the "Trope Workshop" found on the "Troper Tools" menu and worked on until they have at least three examples.Pages that don't do this will be subject to deletion, with or without explanation. All new pages should use the preloadable templates feature on the edit page to add the appropriate basic page markup. All images MUST now have proper attribution, those who neglect to assign at least the "fair use" licensing to an image may have it deleted.Failure to do so may result in deletion of contributions and blocks of users who refuse to learn to do so. Before making a single edit, Tropedia EXPECTS our site policy and manual of style to be followed. The Woobie: Saki Yoshida seriously this girl had a sad life and only got worse where it ends with her committing suicide.Tear Jerker: The Entire story is one for Saki Yoshida from being used by others and then being reduced to being a sad homeless prostitute who commits suicide from abuse with no one caring about her.Spiritual Licensee: Metamorphosis is not a manga adaptation of Lilya 4-ever, but it does come pretty close, due to its similar message and themes.Sacred Cow: Ironically, despite being a hentai character, Saki is treated like this by fans of the story, most likely because her age and her back story justify any Idiot Balls she picks, so they feel like she is a victim of fate or the people around her.The manga also forever haunted the fans by scarring their views on the "bimbofication" trope.ShindoL has several other published mangas, and one of them (TSF Monogatari), was even adapted into anime, but this seems the one he will be most remembered for from now probably because of Saki's tragic life and death at the end. Ever since the unofficially translated version of the doujinshi existed, any female characters from other Anime/Manga that wore a pair of glasses and possessing a pair of braids will be automatically designated as a Saki Expy on sight, joking or otherwise.Other common forms of memes involve trying to tempt people into reading it by posting the identification of number (which is jokingly seen as the "sacred number", or commonly known as a "nuke (nuclear) code") of the manga on piracy site nhentai, or saying it is a "very heartwarming history, you need to read it".Memes involving editing pages of the comic as a form of Fix Fic or in a humorous tone.Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy: This was clearly intentional on the creator's part, and given it is meant to be a tragedy story, this is very much inevitable, and the scenes of Saki being degraded, mistreated and raped by the surrounding characters are certainly hard to sit through.Better Than Canon: At least one doujin with an ending of Josuke and Okuyasu fixing her fate is more well-received than the original's bleak ending. As a result, not many have the guts to read it. Angst Aversion: Even those who have not read this manga are well aware of how notoriously depressing and disturbing its story is.Ambiguous Ending: Did Saki die at the end, with the scene of her as a mother in the future being a near-death hallucination (as comments by the author seem to suggest)? Or did she really survive, after all, clean up her life, and become a mother for real? Word of God would point to the former, but if Death of the Author is in play, the work itself could indicate either.PAGES WILL BE DELETED OTHERWISE IF THEY ARE MISSING BASIC MARKUP.
